So, if you are thinking of coming on holiday to Mallorca, we are going to recommend some places that are a must-do during your tourist getaway to Mallorca.

Mallorca Weather

Mallorca has one of the best climates in the Mediterranean, with more than 300 days of sunshine a year, ensuring unforgettable days in Mallorca while enjoying the good weather in Mallorca, thanks to the amount of sunny days and little rainfall throughout the year.

The most popular time to visit Mallorca is in summer. At this time of the year the temperatures are high but we have the perfect solution! To combat the heat in Mallorca you can cool off on of its paradisiacal beaches. Another advantage of Mallorca is that its beaches are very different from each other, so you can choose whether you prefer fine, sandy, pebble or gravel beaches.

Palma de Mallorca

Another worthwhile plan in Mallorca is to explore its historical centre. The Old Town of Palma de Mallorca is full of places that are worth visiting at least once in your life.

The enchanting city of Palma is undoubtedly a paradise! In the capital of Mallorca, there is a wealth of things to do all year round. In Palma's Old Town, you will discover part of its history and see how the city combines the old and the new together. However, we must warn you that many tourists who come on holiday to Mallorca decide to stay here and live!

The popular Cathedral of Mallorca, also known as “La Seu,” is undoubtedly the top monument in Mallorca and a Gothic architectural jewel. One of the things that makes the Cathedral of Mallorca stand out the most is its prime location, as La Seu is one of the few cathedrals that is located in front of the sea. Another thing that is worth mentioning is the rose window of Mallorca Cathedral. We are talking about nothing less than the largest Gothic rose window in Europe.

Bellver Castle

The Bellver Castle is undoubtedly one of the most important monuments in Mallorca. The castle was built in the 14th century at the orders of King Jaume II of Mallorca

The castle got its name for the beautiful and panoramic views of the city and the Bay of Palma as seen from the castle. Another of Bellver Castle’s highlights is that it is the only circular castle in Spain and one of the few remaining in Europe.

In addition to visiting Bellver Castle, it is also a good idea to take a walk in the large forest that surrounds the castle.

The castle also houses a museum about the city of Palma, where you can learn about its history and enjoy a magical monument surrounded by nature. If you go sightseeing in Mallorca, don't hesitate to visit Bellver Castle and everything that surrounds it.
