Best beaches in Mallorca

As in the rest of the Balearic Islands, here are some of the most beautiful beaches from Spain and, probably, in the whole world. The Mallorcan coast has both rocky cliffs and natural hidden coves among the landscape, as well as kilometers of wide beaches with fine white sand and crystal clear waters. Undoubtedly, the coastal areas and beaches are one of the main attractions of the island, as well as the mild Mediterranean climate, which invites you to cool off in its waters during the warmer months of the year.

You will find hundreds of beaches and coves that are worth visiting, all different from each other. All of them breathe a unique and unforgettable atmosphere, which invites you to relax and chill out. Many of these places help you savor the true philosophy of the island, the essence of Mallorca and its people.

Es Trenc

Es Trenc remains silent, hidden among dunes, is one of the best beaches in Mallorca, and one of the most famous. This beach is part of the Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos Marine-Terrestrial Natural Park, it is a wild beach, and is the last virgin sand beach on the island. In addition to its miles of white sand and azure blue waters, Es Trenc is known for one little curiosity. You will find on the beach some curious concrete buildings that were built during the Second World War in the form of bunkers or machine-gun nests, in order to confront an enemy landing, although they were never used for this purpose. In 2014, these military bunkers were painted in white and decorated with verses from the poem "Cala Gentil", by the Mallorcan poet Miquel Costa I Llobera. This small curiosity gives the beach a unique attraction that sets it apart from the rest of the island's beaches.

Torrent de Pareis

Few places impress more than Torrent de Pareis, if you are thinking about what to see in Mallorca, you cannot miss this wonder of nature, one of the most special and magical places on the island.

More than a beach, it is a torrent bed that ends in a cove of round pebbles, surrounded by huge stone walls. To get there you have to walk a path that goes through rocky perfectly illuminated caves. The experience worths it. It is impossible to describe the immensity of these walls on both sides of the small beach, when you get there you will see that the place is much more beautiful and overwhelming than expected.

Once a year, during the summer season, a jazz and classical music concert is held outdoors in the Torrent de Pareis. This tradition has been celebrated since 1964 on the first Sunday of July during the evening. The torrent acts as an awesome backdrop, like a natural auditorium, offering spectacular acoustics
